Serve Saturday

Serve Saturday CV is a ministry partner of Good Sam Ministry Inc. We exist to serve the people of the Chattahoochee Valley Area, Columbus, GA, Phenix City AL.

We come together the 1st and 2nd Saturdays of the month to Serve Christ, Love People, and Boost the Community through hot dog lunches, food bags, prayer, and love.

Veteran's Home

A community residential care home is provided for Veterans with little to no family support. We make sure that they have three healthy meals a day and we transport them to their doctors appointments. We also manage their medication and help with their ADL’s.

The Village Closet

The Village Closet is a donation-based clothing ministry that is open to serving and blessing the community once a month and on an emergency basis. It provides women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, along with hygiene items, diapers, bags, and more! Service opportunities include:

Every Wednesday evening from 6 pm to 7 pm to help organize the women’s and men’s clothing rooms, unpack donated items, pack up seasonal clothing, etc.

The Village Closet takes donations the first Sunday of the month, every other month.

The Village Closet is led by Brandie Thomas and a team of dedicated volunteers whose hearts are focused on helping the community with not only their physical needs but also their spiritual needs. If you are interested in learning more about the Village Closet or how to get involved, please contact Brandie Thomas.
